Welcome to my
artistic journey
I’m Christine Tomlinson, an interdisciplinary artist based in Hope, British Columbia. My practice brings together watercolour, sculpture, installation, photography and experimental work to explore memory, emotion and our connection to place.
Inspired by landscapes, personal stories and quiet moments, I create work that invites viewers to pause, reflect and connect.

MEET THE ARTIST
CHRISTINE TOMLINSON
I am an interdisciplinary artist based in Hope, British Columbia. My work explores the relationship between landscape, memory, healing, and belonging. Inspired by the rivers, mountains, trails, and histories of the Fraser Canyon, I create paintings, sculptures, installations, and sound-based works that invite people to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with place.

Across my practice, I am interested in how art can become an experience — something seen, heard, walked through, remembered, or shared.
FEATURED WORK
WHERE STILLNESS LIVES
Part of the Hope Landscapes Collection, this work reflects the quiet atmosphere of the bridge, water and surrounding mountains. It explores the familiarity of place and the memories held within a landscape.
